Pesented package of seven laws and tax reform proposal to boost investment

Venezuelan President Delcy Rodríguez announced during the 82nd Fedecámaras Annual Assembly the presentation of a package comprising seven key laws and a tax reform proposal, aimed at strengthening institutional frameworks, promoting investment, and simplifying administrative processes.

Among the legislative initiatives are highlighted the Amnesty Law, the reform of the Supreme Court of Justice, the Hydrocarbons reform, the Organic Mining Law, and regulations concerning administrative procedures, rental and protection to the construction sector.

The tax reform proposal envisions the modernization and digitalization of SENIAT, the simplification of procedures and tax filings, transparent management of tax credits, and the elimination of parafiscal levies and distortive taxes.

The package also proposes the creation of bodies such as the Administrative Procedures Commission, the Labor Consensus Board, and the Parliamentary Commission for Dialogue and Reconciliation, all designed to facilitate public administration, foster agreements, and advance the recovery of income levels and pensions.
