Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) and the company Continental Resources signed an agreement to develop the Ayacucho 2 Block, located in the Orinoco Oil Strip (FPO), President Delcy Rodríguez announced on Wednesday.
The Head of State specified that this is an «Understanding Memorandum between PDVSA and Continental Resources, aimed at boosting new technical and financial capabilities for the development of the Ayacucho 2 Block in the Orinoco Oil Strip.»
The national dignitary highlighted that these are strategic alliances through which the country is advancing «in the strengthening of our hydrocarbon production.»
Furthermore, President Delcy Rodríguez noted that these agreements enable the creation of new opportunities for Venezuela’s economic growth.
