The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, presided over the act of signing of an institutional cooperation agreement with the specialized firm Miyamoto International Inc., represented by its CEO, H. Kit Miyamoto, aimed to strengthen national technical capabilities in structural engineering, seismic risk management, and emergency response.
The agreement on professional services and management, signed between the international company and the Ministry of People’s Power for Public Works, provides for the removal and recovery of three million metric tons of debris over a one-year period.
The event counted with the presence of the Sectoral Vice President for Public Works and Services and People’s Power Minister for Public Works, Juan José Ramírez, along with other vice ministers and members of the leadership team of the Dignified and Safe Clearance Plan.
By the Miyamoto International delegation are also present the principal director, Sabine Kast, the executive director, Jesús Valdez, and the representative Daniel Fernández, consolidating a scheme of technical assistance and high-level operational cooperation for the development of safe infrastructures in the country.
