President Delcy Rodríguez concretes alliance with Geopark company for projects in the Orinoco Oil Strip

In an event reaffirming trust and regional cooperation, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, presided over the signing of the Hydrocarbon Production Participation Contract (CPP) for primary activities in the Baré Block, subscribed between Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) and the Geopark company.

During the event, the President welcomed Jaime Gilinski Bacal, President of the Gilinski Group (the main shareholder of the Geopark company), highlighting the importance of this alliance with a Colombian corporation of a great economic weight.

She emphasized that this partnership is a clear sign of the confidence that international investors currently place in the country’s legal and regulatory framework, thus strengthening the bonds of friendship between the two nations. A Commitment to Social Welfare

The fundamental objective of this agreement is to boost the recovery of the national oil industry, driving an increase in the production that will directly impact the quality of life of Venezuelans.

The President has expressed that every barrel extracted under this new scheme must translate into tangible benefits for the people, reflected in essential areas such as health, alimentation, education, and wage increases.

She expressed her gratitude to the Gilinski Group for betting on the country’s energy development. This agreement not only represents a technical and financial boost for the Baré Block, but also complements a series of strategic alliances aimed at consolidating economic sovereignty.
