The Ministry of People’s Power for Health (MPPS) and the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) have strengthened a strategic institutional alliance aimed at optimizing emergency response and increasing the protection of vulnerable communities in Venezuela.
The initiative formally integrates Emergency Medical Teams with the Medical Information and Coordination Center (CICOM), a state-of-the-art platform designed for real-time data processing and analysis during crisis situations.
Regarding the strategic and operational scope of this inter-institutional cooperation, the authority of the health office stated: «Both institutions have consolidated a strategic alliance aimed at optimizing emergency response and guaranteeing timely assistance to the most vulnerable communities.»
