In an effort to strengthen sustainable urban development, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, led a high-level work meeting with representatives from prestigious international seismic engineering and technology firms, with the goal of strengthening the country’s structural resilience and coordinate advanced plans for urban reconstruction.
It is important to note that this meeting included the participation of the global firm Miyamoto International, a specialist in structural engineering and seismic risk management, represented by its founder and CEO, Dr. Hideki «Kit» Miyamoto. Also present was TFI Solutions, a company dedicated to technological solutions and integral management of projects, represented by its CEO, Noah Schochet, and lead engineer Daniel Cavero Rodríguez.
With these actions, the National Government reaffirms once again its commitment to sustainable urban development, cutting-edge international technical cooperation, and the optimization of the State’s structural capacities to guarantee the security of the Venezuelan people.
During the activity, the President was accompanied by Francisco Garcés, Minister for Transportation and President of the Presidential Commission for the Evaluation of Housing and Infrastructure Habitability; Jorge Rodríguez, President of the National Assembly and Chief of Staff for the Creation of Temporary Camps and Housing; Anabel Pereira Fernández, Sectoral Administrative Vice President for Digital Government and Minister of Economy and Finances.
Also present were Juan José Ramírez, Sectoral Vice President for Public Works and Services and Minister of Public Works; Oliver Blanco, First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Trade; and Alejandro Puglia, President of the International Center for Productive Investment (CIIP).
