The President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, held a high-level meeting this Wednesday in Caracas with representatives of the African Energy Chamber to review international cooperation agreements in matters of hydrocarbons.
For the Venezuelan delegation took part the Sectoral Vice President for Economy, Calixto Ortega; Minister of Hydrocarbons Paula Henao; the President of Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA), Héctor Obregón; and the Vice Minister of Hydrocarbons Policy Eduardo Ramírez. Representing the international organization were its Executive President NJ Ayuk and Vice President Verner Ayukegba.
During the journey, the officials evaluated complementary schemes aimed at promoting global investment in the energy sector. They also discussed preparations for African Energy Week 2026, an international event to be held from October 12 to 16 at the Convention Centre of Cape Town, South Africa.
The meeting served to further diversify economic relations in multilateral forums. With this rapprochement the country positions on the international stage as a receiving hub for high-tech investments destined to benefit the Venezuelan people.
