The Sectoral Vice President for Social Socialism and Territorial Development, Héctor Rodríguez, ratified that the Venezuelan Government is accelerating the relocation of families affected by the earthquakes of June 24, in order to free up the 75 schools currently serving as temporary shelters, in anticipation of the upcoming school year.
During his visit this Tuesday to the Felipe Acosta Commune in the Coche parish of Caracas, Rodríguez highlighted the delivery of the first 287 homes and the commitment to guaranteeing a decent home for each of those affected, as the Social Vice Presidency published on Instagram.
Likewise, he reiterated that Venezuelans demonstrated their capacity for organization and solidarity within the context of the earthquakes, besides urging the communes to define their risk management plans in the face of any natural disaster.
Finally, he reiterated the importance of the advances in post-earthquake recovery, under the guidelines of the President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez.
