President Delcy Rodríguez led work meeting to address construction of housings within the framework of the Venezuela Renace plan

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, is leading a meeting to continue evaluating and monitoring the advances of construction of new housings that will strengthen the country’s urban development and address the social welfare of those affected by the earthquakes.

Were also present the Chief of Staff for the Creation of Temporary Camps and Housing, Jorge Rodríguez; the Vice President for Social and Territorial Development and Minister of People’s Power for Education, Héctor Rodríguez; the Minister of People’s Power for Housing and Habitat, Paola Posani; the President of the «Venezuela Renace” (Venezuela Reborn) Plan, Jacqueline Faría; and other authorities.

This meeting advances, in which also are being discussed strategies that allow to accelerate the recovery of the affected states. Recently, the President announced the progressive, monthly delivery of 4,000 homes before the end of December of this year.

The Head of State has emphasized that new buildings and the projected housing developments must undergo rigorous soil studies and comply with earthquake-resistant infrastructure standards.

Within this same context, the President of the Republic has reiterated that protecting the families affected by the double earthquake is the National Executive’s top priority. Also, she has reaffirmed the State’s commitment to the country’s integral recovery following the emergency, combining legal, financial, and direct support measures for the affected families.
