The president of the Great Mission Venezuela Renace (Venezuela Reborn), Jacqueline Faría, announced that state institutions will prioritize the evaluation and rehabilitation of housings classified under the yellow and green labels and thus accelerate the safe and gradual return of families to their homes following the emergency, concentrating efforts on those infrastructures with minor or moderate damage that can be repaired in the short term.
«As ordered by President Delcy Rodríguez, we will prioritize the yellow and green labels, which represent the majority of damaged housings, and we will ensure that people return to their repaired and safe homes,» assured Faría.
Likewise, she detailed that risk assessment teams and public works crews will remain deployed in the communities to carry out the necessary structural repairs before authorizing the return of the residents. Simultaneously, will be coordinated with the community councils the direct delivery of construction materials and the required technical assistance to ensure that the conditioning work complies with all safety and hygiene standards.
