National Government has assisted 20,936 people in temporary camps following double earthquake

The sectoral Vice President for Social and Territorial Socialism, Héctor Rodríguez, presented the report on the temporary camps for July 14, established to assist those affected by the double earthquake of last June 24.

During the report, was detailed the operational deployment across the country, where a total of 107 facilities are being managed, with an installed capacity of 25,152 beds, of which 20,936 are currently occupied.

Regarding regional distribution, Caracas leads the deployment with 40 camps housing 7,559 people, while La Guaira has 28 facilities, including 6 in current process of expansion, which provide shelter to 10,972 people.

For its part, Miranda state has 29 spaces with an occupancy of 1,705 people, and the Aragua state completes the report with 10 camps that serve 700 people.
