President in Charge Delcy Rodríguez reaffirms the commitment of the country to rise up in the face of adversity

During the commemorative events marking the 215th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, along with the new officers of the Bolivarian Military University of Venezuela, the President in Charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, reaffirmed the historical commitment of the nation to rise up in union in the face of adversity.

In a post on her social media, the Head of State in Charge recalled with a deep patriotic feeling the moment when the people decided that the homeland would be free, and made an open call to the citizenry under the premise of «building a new nation, inspired by the spirit of our Liberator Simón Bolívar: a united, supportive, deeply humane Venezuela, committed to its people.»

Likewise, she invited all sectors to embrace hope with the firm purpose of consolidating a much stronger Republic, where each and every Venezuelan may find true reasons to believe, serve, and build the collective future based on national sovereignty.

With a deep patriotic feeling, and together with the new officers of the Bolivarian Military University of Venezuela, we commemorated the signing of our Declaration of Independence. 215 years ago, the Venezuelan people decided that Venezuela would be free, and today it is up to us to demonstrate that we also know how to rise united in the face of adversity.

My call is to all of us men and women who love this land to build a new nation, inspired by the spirit of our Liberator Simón Bolívar: a united, supportive, deeply humane Venezuela, committed to its people. Let us embrace hope and make of this time the beginning of a stronger Republic, where each and every Venezuelan finds reasons to believe, to serve and build the future from the independence”.
