The President in Charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, emphasized that the courage, solidarity, and spirit of service of the international rescuers represent an example of brotherhood among nations.
These remarks were made through her channel on Telegram after highlighting the «Heroes of Venezuela» and «Canine Heroes of Venezuela» award ceremonies for various international brigades as an act of gratitude for their generous and committed response to the country’s call for help during the seismic emergency.
The international deployment that received the homage includes more than 790 technical specialists and rescue personnel, supported by canine units trained for search and rescue in disaster zones:
