National Executive decrees 7 days of National Mourning in honor of the victims of the earthquakes

The President in Charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, announced this Wednesday through a message on her official account on Telegram that, «in honor of the memory of the victims, I have decided to decree a National Mourning for seven (7) days, beginning at 6:00 p.m. today.»

She added to her text that Venezuela has its soul torn by the loss of life caused as a consequence of the devastating earthquakes. Rodríguez emphasized that the National Government «today accompanies on their pain to the families who have lost their loved ones.»

The President in Charge also offered her prayers for the injured, the missing persons, and the affected communities.
