Thirty brotherly nations join search and rescue efforts after earthquake in Venezuela

The President in Charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that specialized contingents from Vietnam and Cuba have joined the search efforts in the country, which raises up to 30 the number of brotherly nations providing technical and human support following the double earthquake:

«Today has arrived another brigade from Vietnam, and rescuers from Cuba also arrived. We keep on counting thirty countries now; thirty countries are in Venezuela carrying out a commendable effort to save lives,» expressed Rodríguez.

The deployment of these international brigades complements the tireless efforts of Venezuelan security forces in the affected communities to locate survivors among the collapsed structures.

This binational and multilateral cooperation provides cutting-edge technology for the complex extraction maneuvers on the ground, offering an integral support that strengthens the Venezuelan State’s immediate response capacity to the natural disaster:

«We continue in the duties of rescue of people alive, which fills us with emotion and hope, hope for their families, for our people, who see the tireless work of the Venezuelan rescuers and the international brigades,» commented the dignitary in charge.
