The President in Charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, held a meeting with members of the Emergency General Staff to establish contingency plans to assist the population affected by the strong earthquakes that occurred this Wednesday in the country.
To this end, immediate measures and actions are being taken for the deployment of security forces and the mobilization of heavy machinery for goals such as debris removal, clearing roads, and rescuing those affected.
Simultaneously was planned the distribution of supplies to people affected by the earthquakes. Were also established clear guidelines to safeguard citizens and rescue as many residents of La Guaira as possible who remain trapped under rubble.
