President in Charge Delcy Rodríguez: Venezuela advances in guarantees of access to justice

President in Charge Delcy Rodríguez stated this Monday that from her government are being given significant advances to guarantee access to justice:

«We are taking a strategic step in the construction of a new Venezuela that seeks a path to justice, to access to justice, in order to guarantee the human rights of our citizens men and women and make it effective through the guarantees of protection by the State and the Justice System,» she emphasized.

From the launching act of the Great National Consultation for the Reform of the Criminal Justice System, the President in Charge noted that «there are many things to resolve» in this matter, and recalled the reasons that motivated her to study the law career.

She recounted that when she entered the Faculty of Law she did so out of vocation, but also out of personal interest in doing justice for his father, Jorge Antonio Rodríguez, who was tortured and murdered in a cell of the political police in the years of the Fourth Republic.
