The Acting President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, announced that within a lapse of one hundred days must be ready the new National Defense Plan that will be presented to the country.
In a ceremony held this Wednesday afternoon, where members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and citizen security forces pledged their loyalty, commitment, and recognition as Commander-in-Chief to the Acting President, Rodríguez instructed the sectoral vice presidents Diosdado Cabello Rondón, Vladimir Padrino, and Gabriela Jiménez to create this new plan.
“I ask for your maximum collaboration and maximum performance so that in 100 days we have clear guidelines for the new defense system in perfect civic-military-police unity,” instructed the Acting President.
This initiative seeks to safeguard the national sovereignty through an integral scheme that combines the operational capacity of the FANB, the intelligence of the police forces and the organized power of the Venezuelan people, adapting the defense of the Republic to contemporary challenges.
