In a constitutional ceremony celebrated this Wednesday at the Military Academy of Venezuela, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and citizen security bodies formalized their recognition and oath of loyalty to Delcy Rodríguez Gómez as Acting President of the Republic and Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces.
From the Courtyard of Honor at Fort Tiuna, the corresponding honors were rendered to Rodríguez’s investiture, thus reaffirming the cohesion of the military and police establishment.
During the ceremony, the sectoral Vice President for Political Affairs, Citizen Security, and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, read a manifesto on behalf of the security forces, ratifying the commitment of these institutions with the defense of sovereignty and internal order.
Under the premise of the «popular-military-police fusion,» the commanders present assured that, under the leadership of the Acting President, will be guaranteed the protection of the Venezuelan people and the national stability, in strict compliance with the precepts established in the Constitution of the Republic.
