The Association of Caribbean States (AEC) supported the initiative of dialogue advanced by the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR), with the mediation of former Presidents Jose Luis Zapatero, Leonel Fernandez and Martin Torrijos, to bring together the Government and the opposition in Venezuela.
The integration bloc appreciates the adherence to the Magna Carta, rejects any interference and commits on a process that may consolidate the Venezuelan democracy.
