National Executive announced new agreements to boost Mining Arch


The President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro, announced this Tuesday that in the coming days will be signed new agreements to promote the development of the Orinoco Mining Arch, in Bolivar State.
In his program “En Contacto con Maduro” (Contact with Maduro) number 64, broadcast by Venezolana de Television from Miraflores Palace in Caracas, the Head of State recalled that last August 9, Venezuela signed a series of agreements with national and international companies, in order to promote investments in projects in this area, to promote the construction of a diversified economic model that can overcome the oil profiteering inherited from the Governments of the Fourth Republic.
In this regard, the National President said that in the coming days will be signed investment agreements of approximately 20,000 million dollars.
Relations with Dominican Republic:
President Maduro ratified his commitment and solidarity with the people and Government of the Dominican Republic, after the inauguration this Tuesday of his counterpart, Danilo Medina.
“We wish him all the luck to further strengthen our bilateral conversion mechanism, in order to further strengthen PetroCaribe, in a comprehensive way, as an energy, financial, economic, cultural agreement”, he said.
In this regard, he said that will take place several meetings with the Dominican president in order to form a working agenda to help strengthen the social and economic agreements between the two countries.
