The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced the delivery of more than two thousand projects throughout the country during this week, from December 15 to 21. These projects are the result of the collaborative work of the people, the Government, ministries, state agencies, state governments, municipalities, and the People’s Power.
In his 99th issue of the «Con Maduro (With Maduro)+”program, the Head of State highlighted the unique nature of this revolutionary administration, asking: «What government in the history of Venezuela and the Americas can deliver to its people two thousand works of the highest quality?» With this, he emphasized the historic nature of the achievement.
By making a balance of 2025, President Maduro described it as «a good year for the nation,» a year in which the country has risen to the challenge of historical circumstances.
Among the major achievements, he mentioned the complete consolidation of grassroots People’s Power, the constituent processes in 27 sectors, and the new Economic Engine of Transportation and Roads.
The President also emphasized the establishment of the Constituent Assembly of the Venezuelan Working Class, a key step in consolidating the new self-sufficient, sustainable, and diversified economic model. He further highlighted the progress in social, cultural, and public health projects, as well as the impressive food supply that guarantees the right to food.
Within the educational sphere, he qualified the closure of first part of the school year as “perfect” and sent his greetings to students and teachers who will be on vacation until January 12. He encouraged them to take advantage of this period for reading and cultural enrichment.
The President celebrated UNESCO’s declaration of Joropo(*) as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, a “well-deserved award for the people of Venezuela.” He reaffirmed that, despite the aggressions, Venezuela is a «doubly free and also blessed people» that moves forward with optimism and unwavering faith.
(*): The Joropo is a traditional Venezuelan music form and rhythm, mostly typical of the Llanos (plains) region, but with several variants and ramifications that vary across the different geographical regions of the country.
