The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, confirmed his support for the compatriots who return to the country through the Great Mission “Vuelta a la Patria” (Return to the Homeland):
“The Great Mission Vuelta A La Patria is reuniting the family in this new stage, safely bringing Venezuelan migrants. The socialist, Christian and humanist Revolution will incorporate them into the recovery of the country”.
“You have our entire support!”, said the Venezuelan head of state through his Telegram channel.
He stressed that this Great Mission is unique in the world and due to its humanitarian work it is at the service of Venezuelans who wish to return to the country:
«There is no place in the world that has a plan that will seek out its migrants, give them affection, reincorporate them, love them, desire their return because the truth is that the Bolivarian Revolution is the one that guarantees that all migration returns to Venezuela,» he emphasized.
The Great Mission Vuelta a la Patria is an initiative of the Venezuelan government launched in 2018 to facilitate the return of Venezuelan migrants facing difficulties abroad. This plan focuses on providing safe transportation, mainly through the state-owned Conviasa airline, for those who wish to return to the country.
The program also seeks to support returnees in their social and economic reintegration, by offering assistance through Communal Circuits and other social protection strategies.
