During the work journey with the National Electoral Commission for the elections of the justices of the peace that will take place on December 15, President Nicolás Maduro announced the creation of the Communal Budget Portfolio Fund, which will be born with an investment of 600 million dollars, in its equivalent in bolivars.
The management is framed in the Budget Law Project for the Economic Financial Year 2025, which was presented to the National Assembly this Tuesday by the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez:
“In the budget we have directly included the resources to go through what I am going to create, a Communal Portfolio Fund. It will be called the Communal Portfolio Fund of the Budget, and the goal is to reach 600 million dollars of new direct budgetary investment,” said the head of State.
He also informed the country that, the amount of 200 million dollars, in its equivalent in bolivars, is set aside in next year’s budget through the Federal Government Council for community projects in water, electricity, roads, education, health and productive projects.
Regarding the Budget Bill for the Economic Financial Year 2025, the President explained that “it is the first Budget thought out and worked on to invest the country’s resources, the resources budgeted in time in the community works of the neighbors, in the Communal Power.”
Regarding the goal of 600 million dollars that will support the Communal Portfolio Fund of the budget, President Maduro ordered to exceed tax collection to create the wealth that is destined to the management of the Popular Power in the territory.
In context, he reported that, by 2025, four popular consultations will be held for the development of public service projects in each communal circuit: “a form of democratic and popular grassroots power that began this 2024. This year we already had two consultations, now we are going for the third, but it is to elect the justice of the peace.”
“2025 will be a year of progress, of blessings, of peace and prosperity and progress for Venezuela, so I decree the year 2025 will be a unique year, historic for the levels of push and impulse that we are going to give to the rights of the people,” the President stressed in the context of the next four popular consultations.
Likewise, he lashed out at those who try to discredit the Nation or interfere in internal affairs and specified that those who attack Venezuela “will end dried up.”
“The best way to defend our sovereignty, our dignity and our honor is by exercising People’s Power,” said President Maduro, while reiterating the call to strengthen the historic Bloc that has its genesis in the ideas of the Eternal Commander Hugo Chávez, to achieve a monolithic unity as revolutionaries and face global challenges.
