“My idea is that, the Venezuelan concept for the regeneration of the land and production at all scales, I have been promoting that idea and it is the Productive Conuco (Small farm), from the family, in a community scale, but above all, for the regeneration and care of the land, as the Integral Agricultural Renewal Program carries out,” said President Nicolás Maduro, in his “Con Maduro+” program, in the “Más Regiones” (More Regions) section, this Monday, November 25.
The National President stressed that he has been supervising the positive experiences in the country, to increase food production, with a view to exporting to international markets.
“I am aware of all the positive experiences, in all the states of the country, to increase the national production of our food, to solidify that Venezuela supplies itself with all its food for the first time in 120 years, we are already entering into the export vocation, to supply ourselves and supply the international markets with organic products.”
On the other hand, Deisy Velázquez, engineer of the Agrotendencias company, highlighted the work of the Pira program: “What we are doing with regenerative agriculture and the incorporation of a product called TMT, full of microorganisms, we look for it at the mountains, which are in balance, and we multiply them and take them to our fields, which minimizes the dependence of agrochemicals, and encourages avoiding the use of pesticides.”
The National President emphasized that he is a regenerative agrological small farmer, and thanks to the teachings of the Giant Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías, he carried out the reengineering of the AgroPatria mission, to defend food sovereignty, in response to the sanctions of the economic war in Venezuela:
“I am a regenerative agrological farmer, I learned with Commander Chávez and his dream of a country, I learned to love the productive process and when they began to apply the economic sanctions, I did a great reengineering of the AgroPatria mission, we began to strive so that people had technical advice, so that people believed in their own effort and had advice on the productive process, directly to the consumer to match what we managed to match the national economy, with robust microeconomic and macroeconomic indicators.”:
“He who sows the land is sowing his soul something totally beautiful and new (…) The economic war will not be able to defeat us, it will push us to be better. To move forward, move forward and move forward,» said the Venezuelan President.
«Let us not expect anything (from anyone) but from ourselves, we make the miracle with our hands, with our mind, our love and our work,» said the Head of State.
The Yaracuy state is a producer of corn, beans, sorghum and coffee, a place where the Integral Agricultural Renewal Program is promoted, a project that develops sustainable practices to promote food security, avoids plowing the land and the use of chemical fertilizers, instead regenerates the soil, increases water retention and enhances biological diversity, an action that is contemplated in the first line of transformation in the 7T Plan that Venezuela needs.
