President Nicolás Maduro announced that, at the end of September, a congress will be held to review the history of the National Recreational Movement and thus relaunch it with a massive strengthening and operation plan, at the level of the communal circuits.
The information was offered in his «Con Maduro +» television program No. 55, in which he highlighted that there are few countries that dedicate budget, effort and logistics, in order to guarantee recreational activities for their youth and children.
He indicated that up to date the Recreational Movement has more than 12,000 volunteers, distributed in more than 4,000 points, where musical, dancing and singing journeys are arranged:
«(…) Spreading happiness to our country, from end to end,» said President Maduro.
He also announced that the National Recreation Council will be reactivated, in accordance with the law; as he pointed out during the «More Youth» segment, in order to continue guaranteeing recreational activities.
The president of the National Recreation Movement, Jean Carlos Román, stated that this program is a dream of Commander Chávez come true, and he committed to the portfolio of ministers, in order to deliver a National Recreation Plan at the next Congress, which explains the management project contemplated between 2025 and 2031.
It should be noted that the National Recreation Movement is an entity that brings joy, love, happiness to the communities, strengthening the participation of youth in all corners of the country, enforcing the right to recreation and sport, established in article 111 of the Magna Carta.
