The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, inaugurated the Plaza de la Juventud (Youth Square), located in Bellas Artes, in the city of Caracas.
During the tour, President Maduro greeted the young people who were enjoying each area of the square, between hugs of joy he officially delivered the area for the enjoyment of boys, girls and young people of the Homeland:
“I officially give you the Plaza de la Juventud, the youth zone, the Great Mission Young Venezuela, enjoy it, long live the joy, long live the youth, let the music play, thank you, may God bless you boys and girls,” said the chief of State.
The construction of the place took place for more than 115 days and consists of 24,000 square meters, where activities such as sports and education can be carried out, and it also has spaces for cultural and artistic events, among other forms of expression.
Likewise, it has spaces for a play area, work spaces, «a reception to receive each and every one of the young people who have a dream, an aspiration, who are undertaking and who will continue to grow here,» as highlighted by Génesis Garvett, head of the Great Mission Young Venezuela.
