Venezuela enters International Trade Facilitation Agreement

The Minister for Economy, Finances and Foreign Trade, Delcy Rodríguez, reported this Wednesday that Venezuela was admitted into the International Trade Facilitation Agreement.

She made it known during the Productive Economy Council for the Los Llanos Region, held in Apure state.

In this sense, she stated that “despite the insistence of delegations from the United States and some satellite countries to prevent the entry of Venezuela, the country was admitted.”

That means – as Rodríguez explained – a 14 percent reduction in our costs in foreign trade in that virtuous formula that President Nicolás Maduro has designed, and also that the industry is more competitive.

His diplomatic efforts in his capacity as chancellor and as Head of State have resulted in this for Venezuela,” told Rodríguez to President Maduro, who was present at the activity.
