The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, assured that on July 28, with the victory of the people of Venezuela in the presidential race, “such a powerful message will be sent to the world, that we will overcome the sanctions and they will have to lift them.”
“They put us in a difficult situation and we learned, they are not going to defeat us. Venezuela is going to grow, with its own methods, obtaining technology, creating our innovations, we will turn its sanctions into useless measures, these people are not going to give up,» said the head of state.
Regarding the dialogue with extremist sectors of the Venezuelan opposition, the head of state, after recalling the different stages of negotiations experienced in previous years, highlighted that “it is a job that we will continue trying on.»
In this sense, he sent a message to the Venezuelan people who are incredulous of the criminality of the extreme right wing: “Do not allow yourself to be inoculated with hatred and lies, we are going to work so that this country continues to embark on its future paths, that is my call. As I do this with love, with my Christian heart, the message is getting through and there may be people who don’t get it, who don’t sympathize, who don’t vote for Maduro, but who knows that we are doing it in good faith and that we have always told the truth. We have always rooted for Venezuela.”
