Government will activate national plan to manage risk situations

Néstor Reverol, Minister of for Interior Relatins, Justice and Peace, announced on Tuesday that “in the coming days we will be initiating a National Comprehensive Prevention Plan for the management of risk situations”.

He added that the said plan will include the communities, which will include the young people who will receive the information in the educational centers to which they belong.

Likewise, he said that: “We have designed a set of strategies in terms of risk management, so that they are applied within State policy,” he added that the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela has much to learn from Cuba’s brotherly people, in everything related to that subject that is so important.

The head of the Office for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace said that “all the environmental events we are experiencing are the result of excessive exploitation of resources.”

He said this during his participation in the International Seminar “Policies on Citizen Security, Risk Management, Climate Change and Seismic Threat”, which is held for four days starting today at the Theater of the Military Academy of the Bolivarian National Guard, in Caracas.

Reverol stressed that the goal of this international seminar is to direct a set of policies and learning, adding that, on the other hand, will also be disclosed the advances of the Ministry of Interior Relations, Justice and Peace in matters of public policies related to citizen security.
