Venezuela rejects renewal of US executive order

The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela strongly rejected the renewal of the executive order promoted by United States (USA) authorities since 2015, an action used to justify a sustained campaign of aggression against the people, reported Foreign Minister Yván Gil, through a statement on the X social network:

With this unnecessary, absurd and hostile action, it is demonstrated that the decadent leadership of the United States is not capable of designing a coherent foreign policy that is not based on coercion, blackmail or disrespect,” he highlighted in the letter.

He added that the White House continues the application of economic terrorism through its more than 930 measures: “The Venezuelan people have not bowed down to these attacks nor will they ever do so. His morals, his conscience and his perseverance are the solid foundation on which he continues to build victories.”

Through the statement, he emphasized that the decisions taken by the US authorities do not matter, since the Bolivarian nation is determined to be free and advance forward.

Following, the full text of the Communiqué:

The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela strongly rejects the renewal of the Executive Order that sine 2015 has been used to justify a sustained campaign of aggression against the Venezuelan people, violating every norm of the international right, thus constituting a case of collective punishment.

With this unnecessary, absurd and hostile action, is demonstrated that the decadent leadership of the United States is not capable of designing a coherent foreign policy that is not based on coercion, blackmail or disrespect. Having had the opportunity to correct errors and injustices, from the past that have even affected their own interests, the White House opts to continue applying its economic terrorism thru their more than 930 measures against our country.

The United States are today the hostages of their own aggression policies. The migration crisis against which so many political operators are manifesting preoccupation is nothing but a direct and immediate consequence of their coercive measures and blockades.

Moreover, it cannot be expected anything different from a government that normalizes and trivializes the genocide against the Palestinian people, or that shows indifference to the progressive loss of the civil rights of its minorities.

The Venezuelan people has never bowed against these aggressions, nor will ever do. Its moral, its conscience and constancy are the solid base on which it keeps on building victories. It doesn’t matter whatever the United States may do, Venezuela is a country decided to be Free, and will prevail”
