Venezuela has been a field for multidimensional war experiments, stated the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, when reviewing the conspiracies and attacks on peace that the country has experienced during the last 20 years.
“The economic war in all its forms during different years, the internal political war, the psychological war, to bring society to a level of confrontation, of schizophrenia; What they – the opposition – call in their dogfighting manuals, that concept always seemed horrible to me (…) used to chaoticize countries,” said the President, in episode number six of his weekly Podcast.
In this regard, the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, asserted that Venezuelans “have been an experimental field for all forms of multidimensional war, which is also very economical, because it does not cost the United States Army casualties.” America, because it involves above all working on the mind, psychology and customs of a certain society.”
He added that these are strategies that have been applied in the so-called “Color Revolutions” in the Middle East, Europe or the operations carried out in dictatorial periods in countries such as Argentina, Chile and Uruguay, as well as in Central American nations during the decade of the 80s.
“In Venezuela they have failed resoundingly (…) they have tried again and again,” Rodríguez highlighted, detailing that during the 2017-2019 period alone the Bolivarian Government made at least 20 substantiated complaints of serious acts against stability and peace of the Republic, among them: frustrated assassination on August 4, 2018, training of mercenaries in paramilitary camps in Colombia, psychological warfare operations, sabotage against the Venezuelan electrical system, attempted assassination of leaders of the Revolution Bolivarian, attempted takeovers of military squares, theft of weapons in military units, attempted coups d’état, among others.
