President Nicolás Maduro reiterated his commitment to defend Peace

Through a message broadcast this Wednesday on his account on the X social network, the President of the Bolivarian Republc of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reminded that 5 years ago he committed to defend Peace, Democracy, the integrity and the Independence of the Bolivarian Homeland, during his swearing-in as president for the 2019-2025 constitutional term:

5 years ago I swore to defend Peace, democracy, the integrity and Independence of the Bolivarian Homeland under any circumstance. A commitment to the People, to the greatness of its history and to the revolutionary legacy of our Commander Chávez, to whom I will continue to be loyal, forever.”

The head of state was sworn in before the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), in Caracas, for the new 2019-2025 constitutional term. For this presidential exercise he was elected with 67.84% of the people’s votes, in the elections held on May 20, 2018.
