Edúcate Mujer Platform is committed to technical and professional training

The technical and professional training of Venezuelan women, based on in-person and online modality, is the transversal axis of the “Edúcate Mujer” (Woman, get educated) platform, whose creation was announced by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, in the context of the Great Mission Women Venezuela:

It was born to integrate – in a digital manner – all Venezuelan women in Venezuela, and beyond to the processes of educational, cultural, professional , technical training and trade,” he said, while reporting that the goal aims – in the first stage – to the completion of studies of 750,000 women in basic, secondary, technical and diversified education.

The Edúcate Mujer platform, in addition to having training and productive self-training programs, includes the Robinson, Ribas and Sucre Missions, the latter accredited in 33 universities throughout the national territory.

In this regard, the Minister of People’s Power for University Education, Sandra Oblitas, pointed out that “the possibility is established for women to be trained in areas of interest and be linked to any of our universities.”

This opportunity that opens also comes to address training processes that have not had a large incorporation of women because they have not been traditionally linked or offered for the training of women,” she added from the Teresa Carreño Theater, located in Caracas.

Its radius of action also includes Venezuelan women who are outside Venezuela. In this sense, the head of state explained that “wherever they are, whether in Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Spain or the United States, they will have the option to study, to obtain their high school or university degree and obtain their respective diploma so that they can graduate and, one day, not too late, may return to the Homeland as a professional forged on the Edúcate Mujer platform.”
