Venezuela maintains defense of its historical rights:
“It is important to remember where our fight for Essequibo comes from, in the face of manipulation and attempts to portray us as an aggressor country. This territory was won by the Liberation Army with Bolívar at the helm,” stated this September 26, the head of State, Nicolás Maduro, in order to instruct the Executive Vice President Delcy Rodríguez and Chancellor Yván Gil to present to the governments of the Caribbean, Latin America and the world, the documentation of Venezuela’s historical rights over Guayana Esequiba.
The information was spread by President Maduro on his social networks, considering that Venezuela is not a threat: “Only that we defend our historical rights from the plans of aggression and threats by the leaders of the oil company ExxonMobil and the Southern Command of «United States (USA), who flagrantly attack Venezuela’s sovereignty over the territory.»s
