Venezuela condemns terrorist attack on Cuban Embassy in the US

The Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil, condemned through social networks the terrorist attack suffered by the Cuban Embassy in the United States: “From Venezuela, we condemn this new terrorist attack against the sovereign integrity of Cuba, and we stand in solidarity with its people and authorities.”

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez, denounced the event through social networks, indicating that the embassy was the target of a terrorist attack by an individual, who threw two Molotov cocktails. This would be the second attack on the diplomatic headquarters in Washington.

There was no damage to personnel. The details are being worked out. It is the second violent attack against the diplomatic headquarters in Washington, since April 2020. On that occasion, an individual fired an assault rifle at the headquarters… Anti-Cuban groups turn to terrorism when they feel impunity, something that Cuba has warned about to US authorities repeatedly,” he highlighted.
