President Maduro exhorts to re-empower the Venezuelan conuco

The conuco (*) is our root, our concept, it is Venezuela. Now we have to take it to scale from a small, family, large, community conuco or an extended conuco, because the conuco is the multipurpose production of conservation of the land and water source for the food sustenance of Venezuela”, expressed this productive Wednesday the constitutional president of the Bolivarian Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros.

“There is the concept, I am giving it to you, Castro Soteldo, the concept, live and direct, through the media, networks, streets and walls,” he added from Carabobo state, where accompanied by the Minister for Agriculture, Wilmar Castro Soteldo and Governor Rafael Lacava, the head of state conveyed the progress of the country’s central region in national food production:

“I asked to rescue the Venezuelan concept of the conuco and its different levels, then the bad-mouthed and fascists came out to try to make fun of what was said, when what I said is true,” he reiterated, after receiving the informative part from the producers of the Agropecuaria La Envidia, located in the Libertador municipality, in Tocuyito, a family productive enterprise with 60 hectares of extension.
