During the meeting of the National Directorate of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), in Parque Central, Maduro, via telephone, advanced that during the capture process, were seized weapons, bombs and rifles.
«We are dismembering important armed bands that direct the armed insurgency against the laws, the state and society. We must do justice. It is a complex and difficult battle … but our country will not be taken away by anyone».
Maduro blamed Julio Borges for promoting violence and an intervention to Venezuela from Washington, a place where Borges held a meeting yesterday with OAS Secretary, Luis Almagro.
The right wing, he said, tried to sow terror in the capital city to cover the advance of the call to the constituent process; «They prepared a day of terror, in the morning, evening and night. Yesterday May 3 they pretended the worst, an ambush of terror, on the day of the Holy Cross of May, a blessed day for the people, but they have not been able to do so, nor can we allow them to stop the popular constituent process. «
