Consultative Referendum for Essequibo will take place on December 3

The president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Elvis Amoroso, reported that the date for holding the Consultative Referendum in Defense of Essequibo will be December 3 of this 2023, a decision that was made unanimously by all directors of the board of directors. of the institution.

Amoroso indicated that, in the coming days, the Venezuelan people will be informed about the details of this consultative referendum, prior to the analysis that the Electoral Branch must do on the questions that will be answered in the national call.

The head of the Electoral Branch specified that after approving the schedule by the CNE Board of Directors, there will be three days to respond to the people, and present the question or questions for the consultative call on December the 3rd.

Finally, Elvis Amoroso stated that “these actions strengthen the democracy, and the people through the power granted to them by the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela as the original constituent power.”
