Head of State: GDP grew 17.73% as a result of the economic and productive increase in Venezuela

Due to the rebound in the world economy in 2021, as an effect of the easing of the quarantines established to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, the records available for 2022 show a general slowdown on a global scale.

The appearance of other variants of the Coronavirus, as well as the emergence of the conflict in Eastern Europe, have activated new alerts in the world economy.

In this sense, the oil activity registered in the country a punctual growth of 27.09% in the January-September 2022 term.

According to the above, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, expressed through his Twitter account, “Great News! The GDP grew by 17.73%, which demonstrates the favorable results of the economic and productive growth of Venezuela”.

It should be noted that with this result, there are five consecutive quarters in which positive variations in the country’s economic activities are evident, which reflects the favorable performance of national productivity, which began in the third quarter of 2021.
