COVID: Venezuela registered 66 new cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 66 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in the last 24 hours, of which seven are community cases and 59 cases are imported from the Dominican Republic (25), Spain (18) and Panama (16), for a total of 549,273 cumulative confirmed cases to date.

This was announced this Monday by the sectoral vice president for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the usual daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the Twitter social network, @luchaalmada.

The community cases are located in the states: Anzoátegui (2), Caracas (2), Miranda (1), La Guaira (1) and Lara (1).

On day 1,009 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country registers 5,830 as the total number of deceases. The number of recovered patients is 542,003 and there are 1,440 current active cases.
