Venezuela and Kenya strengthen cooperation ties in energy matters

The Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Carlos Faria, strengthened bilateral cooperation ties in the energy area with the Minister of Energy, Oil and Mining of Kenya, Mónica Juma.

According to the information published by the Chancellory through its official account on the Twitter social network, it was known that Venezuela and Kenya signed an Energy Cooperation Agreement in 2009 to bilaterally promote and develop the field of the energy and oil industry, in the areas of: exploitation, production, storage, transportation, refining and distribution of hydrocarbons.

The minister arrived in the country on Thursday, July 21, and was welcomed by the vice minister for Africa of the Venezuelan Chancellory, Yuri Pimentel, where they highlighted the history of Venezuela and the roots that united both peoples, then met with the Minister of People’s Power for Ecological Mining Development, William Serantes.
