Executive Vice President: Argentina gives new victory to the Great Homeland


The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, celebrated through her official Twitter account the victory of Alberto Fernández, being elected as President of Argentina, along with his partner, Cristina Femández de Kirchner, to open a new path to the impulse of social justice in the South American country:
“Argentina gives a new victory to the Great Homeland! The only path for the Great Homeland is that of independence, sovereignty, social justice! This is marked in our glorious history for freedom! No empire will distort the will of our peoples! Long live Argentina! ”
With a 92% of the votes counted, the presidential candidate, Alberto Fernández, of Frente de Todos (Front of Everyone), wins the general elections of Argentina in the first round, with 47.86%, according to data provided by the National Electoral Directorate (Dine).
The candidate for reelection, Mauricio Macri, of “Juntos por el Cambio” (Together for Change), adds 40.68% of the votes cast by the Argentines, as reported the Xinhua News Agency.
A total of 33,841,837 voters attended these elections to elect President, Vice President, 24 Senators and 130 National Deputies for the period that will begin on December 10. The degree of participation was 80.86% of the electoral roll.
