It was approved the law of the Productive Councils of Working men and women (CPT), who are “willing to face the price war imposed by the business sector at the service of the right wing”, as explained the constituent deputy for the workers sector, Carlos López.

Amidst the ordinary session of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), where the law was approved, which workers will be the guarantors of fair distribution and non-stoppage of factories or companies.

Lopez said that the law of the CPT, is the first step for the reinvigoration of the national productive apparatus, by the working class, “President Chávez said it a thousand times, without a working class; there is no socialism and the political leadership of the Revolution said it, and we the CPT will repeat it until we are tired”.

“We know that it can convert into a high intensity war anytime, that is why all CPT workers are willing to wear the militia uniform to face this onslaught of the empire”, he concluded.

On the other hand, the president of the Commission of the working class of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), Francisco Torrealba, indicated that the Law’s main objective is to promote the participation and leading role of all workers in the economic area of the country.

“It is a law whose fundamental purpose is to propitiate, enable and achieve the protagonist participation of the workers of the country, which make possible the existence of goods and services that have been systematically attacking those who make economic war to the people Venezuelan to deny us access to them”, he said.

He explained that the aforementioned Law also aims to highlight the leading role of Venezuelan women. “There will not be a single Workers’ Productive Council that does not have the working women of the Republic as its main protagonist”, he said.

“The third fundamental axis on which the heart of the Productive Workers Council lies is the Venezuelan youth”, he said, explaining that this sector, along with the CPTs, is “important” to fight the price war favored by business sectors. .

“The CPT has a leading role in the monitoring and effective control of what happens in the factories and who better than the working men and women to be aware so that there are no unscrupulous entrepreneurs”, he said.
