A total of 48 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in the last 24 hours, of which 23 are community cases and 25 are imported cases from the Dominican Republic (8), Panama (7), Spain (5), Türkiye (4) and Colombia. (1), for a total of 548,455 confirmed accumulated cases to date.
This was announced this Monday by the sectoral vice president for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the usual daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the Twitter social network, @luchaalmada.
Community cases are located in Caracas (13), Miranda (8), Yaracuy (1) and Zulia (1).
On day 1,002 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country registers 5,830 as the total number of deceases. The number of recovered patients is 541,509 and there are 1,116 current active cases.
