The Vice Minister for Anti-Blockade Policies, William Castillo, affirmed that “in the Aztec capital, the Venezuelan people were protagonists and witnesses of a historic event, of a triumph that means the beginning of the effective unlocking of the 927 coercive and unilateral measures, in addition to the gradual cessation of sanctions against our assets, resources and confiscations of assets, among others”.
This was stated from Mexico City by Castillo, who is also a member of the Venezuelan delegation that attends the discussions of the Dialogue Table with a sector of the national opposition and endorsed by the Kingdom of Norway.
In this agreement was achieved the rescue of three billion dollars, property of the Venezuelan people whose purpose is their investment in health, electricity, education, food programs and also in programs to attend emergencies caused by the recent rains.
