Maduro gets in solidarity with Venezuelans victims of xenophobia in Ecuador

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, expressed his solidarity with his Venezuelan compatriots residing in Ecuador, who have been victims of xenophobia:
“I also want to take the opportunity to express my solidarity with the Venezuelan migrants who live in Ecuador who are being subjected to a Nazi-fascist persecution by the government of Ecuador, all my love and solidarity with our Bolivarian people”, he said.
The assaults respond to the statement issued by the Ecuadorian presidency to create “brigades to control the legal situation of Venezuelans”. A call that has produced an absurd analogy between what was the vile act of violence against women on January 19 and the Venezuelan citizens by transgressing with physical and verbal violence to the Venezuelan nationals living there.
The national leader ordered the Chancellor of the Republic, Jorge Arreaza, to denounce before international instances the xenophobic instigation against Venezuelan migrants:
“I hope that the international organizations that watch over human rights will speak out against this xenophobic manifestation of the president of Ecuador,” he said.
He reported that he instructed a special Vuelta a la Patria (Return to the Homeland) Plan for all Venezuelans who, by the thousands, want to return from Ecuador to their homeland “You are Welcome!”.
