Venezuela achieves release of 2 more EMTRASUR crew members

This Friday, two crew members from the Aerocargo del Sur Transport Company (EMTRASUR) arrived in Venezuela on a Conviasa flight, joining the twelve workers released after being illegally held in Argentina since June 6.

With a warm welcome, José García Contreras, aeronautical maintenance technician, and Mohammad Khosraviaragh, instructor, were reunited with family, friends and colleagues.

Like the first group, thanks to the incessant actions of the National Government, it was managed to lift the measure that prohibited their departure from that country.

Conviasa’s Embraer 190 aircraft arrived at the Maiquetía International Airport at 7:15 p.m. from the Viru Viru International Airport in Bolivia.

In this regard, the president of Emtrasur, César Pérez, indicated “it is a great advance, for now we already have fourteen of our crew”.

He stressed that today “another Iranian colleague, an instructor, arrived today and today he is going to his house, tomorrow he will hug his relatives there in Tehran”.

Even in Argentina, the Boeing 747-300 “Luisa Cáceres de Arismendi” and five crew members are still kidnapped, so the struggle of the Venezuelans continues until they are released.
