A total of 1,000 citizens were assisted during the “The Public Ministry goes to your Community” program, as reported the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab.
This plan began on August 11 of the current year and provides for the activation once a week in the Bolívar squares of the most remote municipalities of the national territory, where there is no fiscal office, specifically on Thursdays.
Through the @TarekWiliamSaab account on the Twitter social network, the Prosecutor indicated that the program travels weekly to the 335 municipalities of the country “to directly serve the popular communities”.
Among the tasks addressed by the Public Ministry in the communities are the processing of requests for protection measures by victims, witnesses and other procedural subjects, as well as guidance to citizens when their denounces are not of a criminal nature.
