The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, during a meeting of the Council of Sectoral Vice Presidents, indicated that Venezuela is the victim of a cyber attack that began on the day of the electoral event, Sunday, July 28.
In this sense, she stressed that 30 million attacks have occurred per minute, which results in 500,000 attacks per second, where death threats were made against ministers, authorities, police forces, military personnel, as well as leaders of the different communities; however she stressed that this situation was contained by the security forces:
“Venezuela is under an unprecedented cyber attack in the world, and the richest man in the world, Elon Musk, has been at the forefront of this attack on the country. He who messes with Venezuela dries up, and today one of his main companies has seen a resounding decline, as well as the downfall of various economic capitals,” added Vice President Rodríguez.
She also added that the Council of Vice Presidents attended to the agenda approved by the Head of State, in the Security Council, and also addressed the plan of the Military Communitaries for Education and Health (Bricomiles), to recover the more than 116 vandalized schools, more than 50 attacked high schools, the universities: “This is a hatred towards education, it is a hatred towards training.”
